Ready for 2014’s final push as we top 10,000 views!

Well, as I’m sure many of you are, I am full of turkey, working on the leftovers and ready to hit the ground running heading full steam for Christmas! And all of this comes at a minor, yet exciting milestone for Abanathy Photography, LLC!

First and foremost, I hope all had a great Thanksgiving, a safe Black Friday, a thoughtful Small Business Saturday and, well, a great take-a-break Sunday! I enjoyed sleeping in a bit and finally getting to try something I’ve been wanting to try for a couple of years now. And that is: A Thanksgiving leftover pizza! Not bad. I started with a homemade crust, then topped it with a little turkey, some green beans, French onions, gravy, some mozzarella cheese (it is a pizza after all) and finally, after it was cooked, added some cranberry sauce chunks on top. It is like holding Thanksgiving dinner in your hand.

Now, as I digest on this late November cuisine, I will remind our readers we have a couple more specials headed their way before 2014 is finished!

First, of course, this week is our Christmas Mini Portrait sessions! Each day we have times available between 2 and 6 p.m. Each session is $49 and includes 30 minutes with the photographer, one free digital download, and 6-8 professionally edited images in an online gallery where you may order any number of custom portrait gifts including Christmas portrait cards!

Second, for that more intimate gift, we are also booking for our “You” Session Stocking Stuffer Special for Dec. 13-20 (call for appointment times)! For $59 you receive a 30-minute intimate portrait session, one 8×10 print (or two 5x7s) and the option to purchase additional prints or a portrait disc! Also, you may include professional hair and makeup for an additional $50! These beautiful, sexy, professional portraits make the perfect gift for him, her, or even for you!

Now, with the business out of the way, I can announce our mini milestone. We have officially collected more than 10,000 views on our Abanathy Photography, LLC webpage! Now (a disclaimer) don’t worry we are not collecting names or any other identifying information. Simply put: It is a number counter and we now know we have had more than 10,000 page visits since its official launch just less than 2 years ago. Hey, I know it might not seem like much, but it is exciting to see the extra digit on there!

Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you see it), I also added another digit to my life this weekend as I turned 36 on Sunday! That’s right, I’m over the hump heading to 40, and I don’t feel a day over 37 🙂 Now you don’t all have to go out and buy me a gift, but I will appreciate a “like” on either or both of our Facebook pages (Abanathy Photography or “You” by Abanathy Photography) if you have not already done so. I won’t even ask you to wrap it!

Whew, well, with the Thanksgiving feast and my birthday lunch out of the way, I am ready for a break and a nap, so to all a great week and, remember, it is not too many days until some more time with family and friends around the Christmas tree! Until next time…
