Looking in the rearview along a two-way street
During the past four-and-a-half months, I have written of everything from high water streams and high business signs to new floors and boudoir. The other day, I was thinking how neat it would be to receive a little feedback. To be able to hear your thoughts and ideas for what you would like to see from a local photography studio. Then, Following a handy little online “bookmark” my wife emailed me the other day (viewable here), I have decided the time is right to ask for it.
I mean, we are living in the Internet age, are we not? Information along that highway is fast, efficient, mostly free, and, most of all, goes both ways. Why not take that advantage and open up the floor a little.
Like I tell our clients. I don’t have that know-it-all, painfully artistic ego some professional photographers do. If you have an idea or suggestion, I’m all ears. So here is your chance to contribute to the blog. You may comment on any of my blogs, however, this one, in particular, beckons you to do so. So let those nuggets of wisdom, questions aplenty, or general comments out, and, most of all, don’t be shy! Ask about us! Ask about the studio! Leave a comment! Make a suggestion! Like I said before: Here’s your chance!
While you are thinking of what to say, I will fill you in on exciting news both now and upcoming for Abanathy Photography, LLC. First, as of this last week, we are now proud members of the Murray-Calloway County Chamber of Commerce. They are wonderful, cheerful people to work with and I look forward to working with them a lot in the future. Also, check their Chamber Saver Coupons page often, as we will soon have some promotional coupons available there.
Now to upcoming events: Abanathy Photography, LLC will be holding its Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting event on Thursday, May 30 at 10:30 a.m. at the studio at 108 Rob Mason Road, Murray, KY (see our site here for driving directions from town).
Next, we will have our grand opening event on Saturday, June 1. There, we will have popcorn, prize drawings, and coupons useable for portraits sessions. Plus, you get a tour of our studio! So mark your calendars and I will remind you in the next few weeks about the event!
You might ask why we chose to host the grand opening on June 1 two days following the ribbon cutting. Well, the answer might blow your mind. It might amaze you. It might astound you….Well, the truth is: We want a lots of people to be able to attend the grand opening and a Saturday is a much more likely candidate than a Thursday. And Thursdays are when Chamber ribbon cuttings are performed, so that’s how it worked out. Are you astounded? Are you amazed? Nah, didn’t think so…But you are now informed.
So, I know you are just tapping the keys, waiting to place your comment below, so I will distract you no longer and allow you to do just that………..GO!
